Helping people to understand themselves, each other and the conflicts that separate them.
Helping people to become mature human beings.
Here's a short bio:
I have degrees from the University of Michigan (A.B., M.S.W.) and the University of California at Davis School of Law (J.D).
Legal Career: I've been in private practice, worked for the federal government as staff counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the USDA, been corporate counsel, and worked in the Office of the Governor (Gov. Jerry Brown) as an intern during law school.
Travel: I practiced law in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years. I then gave myself a sabbatical while I traveled with my husband all over the world. Traveling from our home base in Sedona, Arizona, we lived in wonderful places like South Africa and the Hawaiian Islands (Kaua'i and the Big Island). Our most exciting adventure of all: living aboard a 36' sailboat for 3 years on the East Coast where we spent winters in Key West and summers on Cape Cod and the Chesapeake Bay.
Home in Petaluma: After traveling the world, my husband and I chose to make our home in Petaluma in beautiful Sonoma County. I have re-opened my law practice in Petaluma and my husband has created a very successful home inspection business, Home Inspections by Ken Normington (707.292.9092).
