I love to write! For a number of years I was a columnist for The Arizona Daily Sun, the largest newspaper in northern Arizona. While I was living in Sedona, Arizona, I wrote about teens -- the good, the bad and the ugly -- and then years later when my husband and I were living aboard our beautiful, blue-hulled sailboat cruising up and down the East Coast from Cape Cod to Key West, I wrote about sailing, the environment and life in general. I also published an article for a sailing magazine, Latitudes 'N Attitudes.
I am also passionate about helping myself and others to grow up -- to become intellectually, emotionally and socially mature human beings. Growing up is hard to do. Unfortunately all too many of us adults haven't grown up, but don't know it so we go through life being less than we could be and this affects our own life, our families, our communities and the world at large.
I also am passionate about alleviating human suffering.
Add all these up -- writing, wanting to help myself and others to grow up, and wanting to alleviate suffering -- and you have the makings of three different blogs that I have launched.
